After spending 2 nights in a "parking lot" RV park, we moved to Riley Creek Campground in Denali Park. There are no hookups, but the sites are nice, treed sites.
We went for a ride to mile 15 of the Park Road.
In the evening we went for a walk along a bush trail, and I made sure the bear bells were making lots of noise! We walked along the highway up to the Nenana River bridge. On the way back on the paved trail, we noticed that the mother moose was up ahead with her baby. We had been warned that she was a mean one, and that we should stay out of her way.
There were cars stopped along the highway, and people were calling out to us to be careful. We sneaked through the bush and onto the highway to get around them.
It was a drizzly, cool day, with a temperature of only 10C.
