More finishing work done at Dave's house yesterday. Inside, we were sanding and doing more mudding, but it wasn't drying too well with the high humidity and a few showers inbetween. The house is built on a concrete slab, and by the end of the day, it was totally wet from the humidity. The plan was to put the vinyl floor down today, so at the end of the day yesterday, they spread 200 pounds of kitty litter on the floor, to absorb the moisture. The short term MDS people are in there today, hopefully successfully putting in flooring.
The soil here is red, and very sandy, so even when it rains alot, it drains quickly. We had a huge thunderstorm last night, with heavy rain, yet this morning I walked up to our "internet" building with just shoes on. At the jobsite it's a different story though, the place is quite a mess with piles of dirt from building, so needless to say, I'm doing laundry this morning.
