And the Work Begins!

There are currently 2 projects being worked on near Newton. One is a new, 600 square foot house. George spent the day there yesterday, on the "ruf", sheeting and shingling. He was back there today, studding up walls in prep for electrical and plumbing, which is starting tomorrow. I spent yesterday at Joes' house. It's an addition approx. 14x70, right up against an old house trailer. We painted the brick on the outside, then went inside to help with the sheet rock (what's that?) . Today 5 of us were painting plywood sheets and baseboards here at the camp. Pictured below is what we used as a work bench for painting on.

We've met a wonderful group of caring people, that are a pleasure to work with. 3 couples from the USA, 4 from Manitoba, and 1 from Ontario.

This is a gecko. There are lots of them around.
