On Friday we drove to Galveston. We crossed over part of the Gulf of Mexico on a ferry, to get to the island that Galveston is on. Had lunch at a steak place right near the water, but it was a cloudy, drizzly day, so didn't really get a good view. As we drove north to Houston, we saw hundreds of refineries.

We spent the night near the Johnson Space Centre, and this morning we went to see it. Very impressive! We got on a tram (train), and were shuttled from building to building. We saw Mission Control, the control room for shuttle missions. We also saw where the astronauts are trained.

This is the Saturn V rocket, the rocket that sent men to the moon, and yes James, they did actually go to the moon!

Spent almost 5 hours there, and we didn't see everything! We thought it was a great place to visit.
