We left home on Friday, February 1, heading for McNeal, Arizona.
Traveling the last 50 miles before we arrived.
This is home for the next 4 weeks. We've had some rain and cloud, and lots of sun as well. The last few nights have been cold for AZ, going down to -6 C. The day time temperature today was 17 C which was lovely!
Looking to the North.
There was a work team here last week that built 2 of these carport/sheds. There is still finishing work to be done on both of them.
The electrician at work.
The plumber at work.
My job has been to do some baking for the mens' coffee breaks every morning. They always seem to appreciate my offerings, and it gives me a chance to try out new recipes, and know they'll get eaten!
Looking to the east, you see the RV park that belongs to Ethnos. There are 4 couples that are with the S.O.W.E.R.S organization there, who are also volunteering here for 3 weeks.
The mountains to the North-West.
It's been a great week of re-connecting with missionaries and volunteers that we've met in the last few years, and also getting to know some new people.
"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men..."
Colossians 3:23
