On Monday we took the Grand Canyon Railway from Williams, AZ to the Grand Canyon. We left at 9:30 in the morning, after witnessing a shootout at the outdoor theater.
The trip took just over 2 hours, and we found that the coffee in the Cafe car was really good. There were also fewer people and larger windows in that car.
We walked past the barnyard where the mules hang out.
The view was as spectacular as ever!
"The heavens declares the glory of God, and the firmament showeth His handiwork"
Psalm 19:1
We did a lot of walking in the 3 hours we were there.
On the train ride back, we were held up by robbers on horseback.
They boarded the train, walked down the aisle and visited with the passengers. No threat there!
This guy is a midget, must be Danky Dalton!
We arrived back in Williams by 5:30, after a very enjoyable day!
