From Vanderhoof on the Yellowhead Highway, we drove to Prince George, and there we turned south on the #97 to Cache Creek.
It was a very hot day, and the outside thermometer on the truck showed that it was 43 degrees at one point.

It was definitely a night when we would need A/C, so we stopped near Boston Bar at a very nice RV park.
