This afternoon we drove out to the Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge. We went for a walk there, but didn't see any birds.
We then drove to Pascagoula, and as we were crossing the bridge, we noticed that everyone was pulling over to the side. There was a funeral procession coming toward us, and out of respect, everyone pulls over and stops.
A short drive to the Gulf of Mexico, where walked out on a long pier. It was very foggy right on the Gulf. Also, the temperature dropped to 17C in just a few minutes from 23C. Once the sun came out again, it warmed right up again.
Next stop on our tour, was the Northrop Grumman Shipyard.
We ended the afternoon by making our Saturday night pizza on the barbecue. It turned out very well.
