Friday evening we went out for supper to Huck's Cove. It's a burger joint, but has other items on the menu as well. We shared an appetizer of fried dill pickles, served with ranch dressing. Very good! George had a crawfish po-boy, and I had a shrimp po-boy (sand-bug is what the bill called it), served with battered Cajun fries. How do you make fries even less healthy for you? You batter them! Yes, it was all very good.
The decor was quite interesting too. Colorful, plastic tablecloths, lots of lights, and all kinds of pictures, license plates, and other stuff on the wall. There is also an outside dining area, overlooking the river. A sign there says, Do not feed the alligators. $2000 fine. We started off sitting out there, but the bugs were too bad, so we came inside.
