Leaving NTMA

Our last week of work at NTMA is over.  The weather throughout the whole time we were there, was wonderful.  The trees are letting out now, and some of the trees are blossoming.  I saw some daffodils a few weeks ago already.
George and Danny finished painting the trailer roofs on Monday, and spent the rest of the week doing other jobs around the base.  They fertilized and sprayed the lawns, did some electrical work, and attempted to repair one of the mules.

We left McNeal this morning.  The landscape changed gradually from cacti and mesquite, to evergreens and eventually even snow up in the higher elevation.

In the town of Clifton.

We drove about 50 miles of switchback roads, climbing to an elevation of over 9000 feet.  The temperature went from 24 C down to 13 C for awhile.
We are in Holbrook, AZ tonight.
