Hi Ho RV park

We started out for Texas on Saturday morning, and got all the way to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Yesterday morning we left the hotel at about 8:30, and as we drove south, the roads continued to get worse. Between Sioux City, Iowa, and Council Bluffs, there was alot of packed snow on the road, so the travelling was rather tense. We arrived in Wichita, Kansas by suppertime, and though we were concerned about the forecast for freezing rain for today, we checked into a hotel and went out for supper. When we got back, we debated: should we continue on, or just hope and pray for the best?? We decided to go to bed for a few hours, then go on. So at midnight we got up, packed our stuff into the truck and headed south. The roads were great, and when we arrived in Denton, TX, it was just drizzling a little. We went for breakfast at 6:30, then crawled into a very cold bed in the camper....I've never slept in my parka before....for an hour's nap. So we're in Glenn Heights, TX in an RV park now. Feels good to be in the camper, and even though it's about 5 degrees outside, it's nice and warm in here. More freezing rain forecasted for tonight, so we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Glad you made it safely through the snow! And sleeping in the cold makes you tougher right? I hope you at least had the proper amount of blankets, not like some people I know...
Love you guys!!
