We drove from Russellville, Arkansas to Branson, Missouri along the #7 highway. The road goes through the Ozark Mountains, and the scenery is just great. The warning on the highway said, "Steep and Crooked Roads", and they certainly were.
While in Branson we did lots of touring around. Yesterday we drove to a fish hatchery, Table Rock dam and State park. The main strip in Branson is a very busy, congested area, with many shops, theaters, hotels, and restaurants.
The area is very hilly, and there isn't one straight road anywhere. Lots of "steep and crooked" highways.
We have tickets for a show this evening, and tomorrow morning we'll start for home.
