We arrived in Ocean Springs, MS yesterday afternoon. We're set up in an RV park, with 6 other MDS couples, all Canadians, and lots of "snowbirds" from all over the country. We have full hookups, cable TV and high speed internet. It will be no hardship to spend 4 weeks here. The closest shopping is about 10 minutes away, so that's very convenient as well.
We attended the Grace Baptist Church this morning and were challenged to "consider how we may provoke one another on to love and good works." Hebrews 10:24 . It was a good service, with enthusiastic hymnbook singing and a good message.
This afternoon we will be gathering for a wiener roast and orientation meeting. The weather is cloudy and 17C, but we have a shelter of sorts, so it should work out OK. I suppose we will be told where we'll be working tomorrow, and what we'll be doing.
