If you look closely, there are 2 roadrunners on this picture. We see them quite often, but they don't stop for pictures.
Working on finishing the steps and deck.
We had a missionary from Mexico here for a few days, and one morning she did a workshop on sourdough baking and fermenting vegetables. The bread is delicious, although my first attempt was a bit of a gong show. I have fermented carrots as well, which are "done" after 5 days.
On Thursday morning we woke to a few inches of snow. I guess it's just a reminder of what we're missing at home. The snow was gone by noon.
