On Saturday we went to see the Chiricahua National Monument. We walked to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain, which is at 7310 ft/2,228 M. There is a fire lookout at the top, and a great view of the surrounding canyons and hoodoos.
We did some walking at Echo Canyon as well, to see the balanced rock formations and the grottoes.
On Sunday evening, a group of us gathered to sing. We sang many old favorite hymns as well as some that we'd never heard before. We had 4 piano players, one is a 75 year old man that we just loved to listen to. We also had a guitar/banjo player, and there was an attempt at spoons, which was a fail.
We took a break for snacks, and then continued singing. What a wonderful evening!
