......is almost over. Can't believe we only have one week left.
Last week we had 3 days of light rain, which is very unusual for this part of Arizona at this time of year. They were very happy for it, as it sure helped to settle the dust. This week is cooler than normal, still very nice compared to home! It's sunny again, hurrah for that!
George and his young helper took the cabinets and any other usable items out of an old house trailer last week. This trailer is going to be demolished, as it has reached the end of it's life. The men also did some road work again, mostly preparing the parking lot area for the Expo which is on Saturday.
The guys were drawing lines on the parking lot yesterday.
I've been trying to keep the men supplied with food for coffee breaks. I've packaged some cookies for their freezer so they have baking for a few days after we leave.
This morning we went for a helicopter ride. We had to register, get weighed, sign a waiver, and be briefed on flight details before we went. All in prep for Saturday, when they'll offer helicopter and plane rides to anyone who wants to go.
It's alway a thrill to go for a ride into the mountains. We had a great time!
